Cementir Holding has received an A rating from MSCI for the second year in a row for its strong performance in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.

This rating highlights Cementir consistent efforts in sustainability, particularly carbon emissions reduction, health & safety improvements, and governance practices. Cementir achieved above-industry average scores across all six major evaluation categories, especially in key subjects such as “Health & Safety”, “Labor Management” and “Corporate Behavior”.

This rating reflects Cementir long-term commitment to promote sustainability and responsible behavior throughout the organization and align its operations with global ESG standards. Focusing on ongoing decarbonization, Cementir has set ambitious CO₂ reduction targets for 2030 and 2050. In February 2024, SBTi validated the targets as aligned with the 1.5°C framework scenario.

This A rating confirms the virtuous path Cementir has taken in recent years in the area of sustainability.
